The tsunami and subsequent meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in March of 2011, was initially covered around the clock by mainstream media and cable talking heads. It has since become an out-of-sight, out-of-mind phenomenon to a vast majority of Americans — a big mistake especially for those living on the West Coast.
The situation in Japan has now reached the point of no return, and little can be done to stop it. There have already been 16,000 deaths as a direct result of the disaster. Natural News and several others have reported thousands of Japanese citizens are suffering from recurring nosebleeds, nausea and dizziness — all signs of radiation poisoning. A Facebook page set up to track these incidents recorded at least 5,000 tweets from Japanese citizens between September 22 and 23 saying they couldn’t stop their noses from bleeding. The Free Press Association of Japan took it a step further, accusing mainstream media of blatantly covering up what has become a very serious problems threatening humanity’s very existence.
Nuclear energy experts and Japanese fishermen have accused Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of telling an “outright lie” when asked about the situation in response to Japan winning the right to host the 2020 Olympics. But the people in Hawaii and along the West Coast of the United States may not live to see 2020 unless they start taking seriously a situation that could alter humanity forever.
The Facts
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) has confirmed that there are more than one million tons of radioactive debris floating in the Pacific Ocean. The agency subsequently downplayed the seriousness of the issue. But Chris Busby, the Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk, told the Asia Pacific Journal that Fukushima was “worse than Chernobyl” and will likely affect an area far beyond Japan. Researchers with the Radiation and Public Health Project in New York compared babies born in California in the aftermath of Fukushima to those born in other parts of the country. The previous group were 21 percent more likely to be born with congenital hypothyroidism, according to the study. Despite these realities, media continue telling the people of Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii that there is nothing to see here.
What You Can Do
Chronic nosebleeds and nausea have not struck the West Coast as of yet, but it’s better to be prepared in advance before it happens. Keep a good amount of cilantro at all times, and add it to your regular diet now as a preventative step. It is known to flush lead and uranium from the system. Researchers at the University of Rajasthan (India) found that rosemary may be the absolute best protection from radiation poisoning and its side effects. If you’re in a pinch, ingesting dandelions will also counter the effects of radiation.
Of course, always make sure you’re able to escape the city if things get out of control quickly. Keep your bug-out vehicle well-maintained, and make certain your two-wheeler has the best motorcycle tires and accessories from BikeBandit.com to ensure you can go off road and into small spaces when necessary to escape.
And though radiation levels are said to be safe in Pacific marine life near the West Coast, avoid eating ocean fish if you want to be extra careful.
